ABOUT ME

Sports Therapist | Final-Year Physiotherapy Student | Elite Ice Hockey Insider
Hi, I’m Barb — founder of WOW Sports Therapy, sports therapist, and a final-year physiotherapy student with a passion for helping people feel seen, heard, and actually supported in their recovery.
With years of experience in private clinical work and elite sport, I’ve worked with everyone from local legends to former NHL stars — supporting them through injuries, setbacks, and those behind-the-scenes battles most fans never see. I’m proud to be listed on Elite Prospects for my work with the Belfast Giants, where I’ve built a reputation for calm under pressure, sharp clinical instincts, and the kind of care that goes beyond taping ankles.
I believe that great therapy isn’t just about fixing what hurts — it’s about supporting the whole person. Whether you’re an athlete chasing peak performance, a parent juggling everything, or just someone trying to move without pain again, my job is to walk alongside you with trust, honesty, and a good dose of sideline sarcasm.
Through WOW Sports Therapy, I offer a place where performance meets compassion — where you’re not just a “case” or a “condition,” but a person with a story. And I’m here for all of it.
Let’s get you back to feeling like yourself again — stronger, more confident, and fully supported.
